[Don't ask him that, Loki. God. Now it's his turn to be awkward again.]

We never had a morning after like that. We live with my parents still, Loki.

[He shrugs, bringing up a hand to rub at the back of his neck absently.]

I don't think Teddy really knows how to cook anyway.

Oh. Well, perhaps I'll teach him. As for the living with your parents thing, you should better knowing Thor has lived at home his entire life and that hasn't stopped him.

[ Putting the world in a new perspective? Yes. ]

I think that's a little different, Loki. Besides, my parents have a 'no boys in the bedroom' rule after a certain hour. Neither of us wants to break that one.

[So, you know, they'll just take fooling around when they get the chance.]

We were planning on getting our own place before-- well, you know.

I may have already broken that rule ... for you. Ah, oops. [ Laughing in chagrin, he winces and rubs the back of his head, holding up a hand so he can hastily explain. ] When I was a manipulative little wretch, I snuck in and whispered in your ear. Maybe. I am sorry now, it was inappropriate. Also creepy.

But just so you know, yes, you've had a boy in your room at a very indecent hour and that boy was ... me.

Ew... what? Loki, that's Edward Cullen levels of creepy.

[At least he recognizes it though.]

And you were like twelve at the time, I guess. Or you looked like it. I mean, that's not much older than my brothers. Less inappropriate since I don't make out with kids.

I really was a weird little thing, wasn't I? All down to those nefarious schemes. But, hey! You look cute when you sleep, so I can offer up a compliment at the very least.

[ Maybe. Is it one? Yes. Yes, sure. ]

[Ugh. Weirdest compliments too.] You were a kid and you were thinking about how cute I was?

I was allowed to look. People were talking about hot make-outs around me, I wasn't deaf or blind. [ His passion as a kid was for being a little shit, as was good and proper in its own marginally evil way. ] I told Teddy he was a lovely dream to look at. Like a painting!

Yeah, well, we mostly talked about that kind of stuff because it was fun to see if we could gross you out. Are you still disgusted by smooching, by the way? [He can't help a smile at the memory. Trolling Loki with the word all over social media had been pretty fun.]

Teddy is amazing to look at, but watch it, Loki. He's still my friend.

[ Evenly, he says, ] I should think my feelings on the notion of kissing are more than obvious.

[ Smooching is a stupid word, gosh. Gosh. ]

Okay, yeah. Kissing is something you seem to like a lot.

[Nope, not going to be awkward about that. Or he's trying to not be anyway.

And smooching isn't that bad of a word.]

But not with you, no. Never again. Note to self: Billy Kaplan's lips are like the jaws of Galactus, do not get sucked in!

[ You asked for that one, bruh. ]

[Really.

Did he really want to start this?]

Uh-huh. You're just bothered that I wasn't all that impressed with your kiss.

In my defense, I wasn't really trying. I thought I'd get hit for my efforts, brief as they were.

[ He was being circumspect about avoiding more black eyes, okay. ]

It would take a lot more than a kiss to make me hit you again, Loki.

May I, then? Kiss you again.

[ Juuuust going to keep his chin in a hand, propped up as he watches him with steady, intent green eyes. Blinking after a moment where his attentiveness quirks in an almost-smile, Loki licks his lips just to allay any dryness, reflexive even in the way a tooth catches the lower to worry it. ]

You want to kiss me again?

[He almost wants to ask why, but considering where they are? It's... kinda obvious why. Incentives and all that.]

Well, since you actually asked, I guess one redemption kiss won't hurt. Just to see if you really are okay at it.

[ His smile flares brightly for a moment, dimming as Loki slides in close so their sides align and it's easier to drape an arm behind Billy on the sofa. Curled knuckles brush along his jaw as Loki stares into those brown eyes, his gaze drifting to Billy's lips as he simply savours the intimacy of that much simple touching (you're beautiful he says without words, this is what I want). Tilting his chin, agile fingers glide through the floppy locks by a temple and brush Billy's hair aside, the soft pads of Loki's fingertips trailing lightly around the shell of an ear, drifting to seek out sensitive softness on a throat where most people wouldn't get a chance to touch.

He doesn't quite kiss him yet, cupping the back of a neck to draw him in so their lips can brush, a sleek lick tracing all around the seam of Billy's delectable mouth with formal but lewd interest (here, here is where I want to taste you).

In a low voice, little more than a rumble in Loki's chest that huffs hot air over Billy's open mouth, he murmurs, ] How am I doing so far?

[The minute those fingers start to trail over him is the exact moment Billy sort of figures he's in trouble. A shiver goes through him at the intimacy that almost has him off guard. Kissing isn't something new -- he's probably kissed Teddy every way there is to kiss. Teddy and other boyfriends back home and other people here.

But intimacy and longing, whether it's real or for show, isn't something he's used to with anyone besides Teddy really... at least to this degree.

His lips part a little of their own accord at the way Loki's tongue moves, anticipating a proper kiss -- and what he gets instead is a question and Loki's breath warm over his skin. There's a moment where Billy's lips curl up in amusement, where he's distracted from the sudden attraction there -- being attracted to Loki is a bad idea in any way shape or form too, Kaplan.

And he could pull back. As a matter of fact, he should. Brush all of this off with a joke and leave maybe leave Loki wanting a little bit. Seems fair, after all the teasing.

Instead, one hand moves to tangle through Loki's hair and he leans forward to answer that question with an actual kiss of his own because there wasn't any sense in leaving himself wanting and curious over what it might be like. Too well... Loki might just have done too well.

But it's easy to ignore that when he's focusing on the way Loki's lips feel against his, the way kissing him isn't all that bad when he's prepared for it and there's no misunderstanding the reasoning behind it.]

[ An echo of a laugh is lost in the press of the insistent kiss, which he takes control of from the start. There's a hunger to the way he moves, banked passion in the combing of black-nailed fingers through Billy's hair to gently rest at the nape of his neck, but he lets the wealth of it translate with every sensual stroke and hard suck of tongue, seeking out the roof of a mouth, the hot sides, smooth teeth, until Billy's mouth has Loki written all through it with an amorous claiming. It's such a pleasant experience that Loki wonders what it would be like to kiss him for hours, lazy like this, over and over ...

Catching a lower lip between his teeth, he nips him there only to peck it better. There's a lot of play in the way Loki encourages Billy to part his lips and meet a licking tongue in the cool air, enjoying the clashing temperature of the room.

One kiss, yes, but Billy never specified a time limit, along with many other details. ]

[Billy's hand travels from Loki's hair down his neck to rest at his chest. It's not to push him away if the way he grasps of the fabric of his shirt almost instinctively in response to the way Loki's tongue delves and explores until his mind is momentarily focused on Loki -- the taste of him and the feel of him and every wicked little thing he apparently knows how to do with that mouth of his.

Guess he really had earned the name Silvertongue for more than one reason--

The nip earns a low noise escaping Billy before he can really stop to think the better of it, a little jolt going right through him. This had gone... way beyond one kiss. He knows that. This was just sort of making out at this point. So while lips part again and his tongue meets Loki's, mingling and playing for a moment, he doesn't let it linger for much longer before he's pressing a softer kiss to Loki's lips before he draws back. He looks away for a moment to ground himself a bit and tries to ignore the heat rising to his face.

Okay, wow.]

Better.

[ The noise that leaves Billy is one that makes Loki's nails scrape at his nape, sliding free with exceptional self-control despite how much he would like to pursue the creation of more such moans. Like a big cat with eyes only for its trainer, he obediently let the kiss part on sweeter terms, green eyes brighter and full of mischief, seeking out angles behind them to get more of what he wants.

When Billy looks away, he'll find lips drifting lightly over his jawline, fingers sliding down his chest to tangle and lace through his knuckles. Loki's ego swells. ]

That was fun, though not my topmost form. [ He keeps his attentions light, easily brushed off if Billy gets exasperated. That doesn't change the fact Loki's kiss-sticky mouth closes over his pulse for a mere second, planting a playful kiss there, huffing a smile made of hot air as silky black hair tickles at a neck. ] Best out of three?

That wasn't your topmost form? [He huffs out a laugh and wonders vaguely if he can actually justify another kiss. Teenage hormones kind of suck sometimes -- or at least they sort of really get you into trouble. The brush of Loki's lips on his neck... is really not helping either, dammit. For a moment, his head tilts back a little further, a thoughtful hum leaving him.

What he wants to do is pull Loki closer or maybe just crawl closer himself, settle himself in Loki's lap and keep kissing because this feels good and it benefits them both, really. And what he should do is the opposite of all that.]

Is this going to turn into best out of four if I say yes? Best out of five?

[ Resting his forehead against Billy's neck, Loki's low laughter shakes all through his chest and shoulders. A nibble finds its way back up to the hinge of a jaw, nosing there as he raps light fingers on Billy's hands almost thoughtfully. ]

How about we kiss until you feel like sending me packing? I promise to leave as soon as you grow sick of the sight ... and taste of me.

[ Oops, that ear needed a nip. ]

I'm pretty sure-- that's cheating in some way. [Because Loki's mouth was doing a pretty good job at being distracting right now. He turns his head after a moment, chasing after Loki's lips for another kiss, another teasingly light one.]

Just don't expect to be sticking around to make any morning after breakfasts. That really would be a terrible idea.
