[He's not entirely sure what made him stir-- just somebody being in his bedroom, the maybe-peck, who knows. But he wakes up to a folder and markers set nearby either way. He takes a moment to inspect them-- and if the designs weren't enough to tip off who it was... well.
He smiles a little, fingertips brushing over some of the pages. He hadn't been expecting gifts-- and really, it feels like Loki's spoiling him a bit. He appreciates it though, something warming in his chest that he'd go out of the way to compile all of this for him.
That's why, once Billy's put the folder safely aside, Loki can expect a visitor creeping into his bedroom shortly after.]
Loki? [He starts out softly, looking around. If Loki's fallen asleep, he'd hate to wake him up after all.
But he does want to give a thanks.] Hey, you awake?
[ Barely having dozed off by the time Billy is a silhouette in the doorway, Loki rolls onto his back in bed to see him and staves off a yawn. In truth he does spoil Billy, more so now that Teddy is gone. Seeing him come apart at the seams because of Teddy's absence isn't something he wants to see or be a part of (again) so small gestures seem the way to go, even if it means giving Billy something to do while moping around the house. ]
Mmm. Hey.
[ Although whether the gift was a welcome one of not, he can't immediately tell. ]
[With Loki at least somewhat awake, he feels less bad about creeping the rest of the way in and less weird about crawling up on to the other side of the bed to lie down for a second. One arm slides around Loki's waist while he leans up to press a quick peck to his cheek.]
[ The milky morning light is pale blue on Billy's skin, soft highlights almost like a memory of his chaos magic. Warm and comfortably heavy in the coil of Loki's arm, Billy is more than adorable or lovely in the trust he displays so easily these days. He's quite beautiful.
Loki insists to himself that he isn't jealous of Teddy, even in the other man's absence. ]
I was thinking we could proudly stick it to the fridge with a magnet.
I better get a smiley face sticker and everything. A gold star, even.
[He brings up a hand to brush over Loki's cheek softly, affectionately. Sliding into Loki's bed is nice-- and something he probably doesn't do enough of, honestly.]
Hmm, gold stars are really top marks ... [ As if he won't declare Billy a professional modern artist if it turns out the whole book is scribbled on in crayon.
His lashes flutter closed, trying not to think about the last time someone was as gentle and intimate (back when Jason and he had a thing). It's nice and soothing, although he keeps his gaze half-lidded so as to keep musing the handsome creature poured like syrup into his bed. ]
I didn't get in too long ago. It's a quiet night out there but the weather is mild, so I tarried awhile. [ Making a colouring book by breaking and entering, oops. Tilting his cheek into Billy's caress, he leans forward to steal a chaste peck on the lips. ] Are these kisses goodnight?
[One of his hands trails down, reaching for one of Loki's to lace their fingers together. This easy affection... he can't believe how far they've come, really. How it's actually soothing to be tangled up like this, relaxing.
He leans in to brush another kiss to Loki's lips, letting it linger for a bit longer than the previous.]
Maybe I just like kissing you. [His lips quirk up a bit.] Do you want me to leave so you can get some rest?
I can do all the conjuring you want me to, actually.
[He settles in against Loki, shifting a bit to lift a hand to illustrate his story, blue magic forming an image-- and happy endings. He can do that, sure.
And like last time they had story time, their heroes might just be a certain Norse god and a mage. Why not?]

Thanks, Loki.
[For a lot of things, really.]

I expect to see a whole page finished by tomorrow evening, for the record.

[But he laughs and gladly tangles in a bit closer to Loki, draping against him.]
Are you going to frame it?

[ Fingers twitch in Billy's hand when he kisses Loki, a nip and graze of teeth dragging over Billy's lip before being let go. ]
No, I'd like it if you'd stay. [ He has to chuckle, arching a brow. ] Tell me a story?

Okay, I can do that. What sort of story do you want, Loki?

[ Ba dum psh. ]
