[He leans against Teddy, resting back against his chest.]

[He leans forwards, arms tightly around Billy, because maybe isn't no and Billy says no when he means no.

On the other hand, it's not yes, either.]

You are still mad, then. Come on, B, don't try and hide it.

I'm not mad. I'm upset.

[He leans in when Teddy's arms come around him.]

I don't care if you heal, Teddy. I don't care if it's nearly impossible to actually do permanent damage. It still doesn't mean I like it when you just throw yourself into situations like that.

[He sighs, curling up around Billy, trying to be comforting by sheer definitely unharmed presence.]

I don't like it when you do it, either. But neither of us is all that great at not doing something. Part of that falling in love with a super hero thing, I guess.

Mm, I guess so.

[He huffs out a laugh when he curls around him even more.]

Are you trying to make sure I don't leave?

Nope. Just cuddling. I missed it last night.

[He's not uncurling, either. He's getting his cuddles in whilst he can, smiling into Billy's hair.]

Please don't be upset, either? I don't like upsetting you.

[He smiles a little bit to himself, tipping his head back to look at Teddy.]

It is pretty hard with you doing that.

[Well, hey, there's an excuse to not move at all, right? He leans over to plant a kiss on Billy's neck, the easiest patch of skin to reach from here.]

Good.

[He yawns, lying back down.]

So how long do I have to keep cuddling before you turn over and face me?

Are you still tired?

[He squirms a bit though, shifting in Teddy's hold until he can turn around and face him.]

Well, I'm facing you now...

Maybe a little. Late night, and the bed was kind of big and cold with just me in it.

[He smiles, warm and hopeful, and leans in carefully to brush his lips over Billy's.]

You are. Hi. Missed you.

We used to keep separate bedrooms, you know.

[But it was weird, now that they'd gotten used to sleeping together. He tips into that kiss.]

[He smiles, and then presses his lips more firmly to Billy's, because he can.]

I know. But I also wasn't used to having you sleep next to me all the time. Besides, I slept in our room. Everything in there reminds me of you.

[Sleeping in his own room is fine. Sure, they've done things in there, but it's not really a Billy space. Their room is different.]

Feeling better?

Mhm.

[He shifts a bit closer, sliding a leg between Teddy's as he settles in against him.]

Well, now you're sort of surrounded by me. Want a nap?

[It's not like they have anything in particular planned today, right? And Billy isn't in a hurry to move at the moment.]

Mm, best kind of place to be.

[He relaxes, smiling, and stifles another yawn against the pillow, unwilling to let Billy go for a moment.]

Nap sounds good. Still going to be here when I wake up?

Well, considering you don't really want to let go of me, I'd say so...

[But it's only teasing really. Billy is right where he wants to be.]

I'll let go if you want, B, you know that.

[Not that he's going to unless Billy specifically asks. He's comfortable now, and content to lie there with his boyfriend. He leans back in for another kiss, a little longer and a little less tentative.]

But I sleep better with you around.

I'm not going anywhere, Teddy.

[He returns the kiss softly.]

Get some sleep.

[He curls up a little more, half-smiling, and lets his eyes close. He really is kind of tired.]

'Kay. You're the best boyfriend, B. Love you.

Love you too, Teddy.

[He settles his arms around him then, holding on to Teddy as he lets his own eyes drift shut.

It's kind of nice, really, getting to share a bed with Teddy in their own home, with their pet at the foot of the bed snoozing still. It's something he hadn't dreamed of having, at least not for a while.

It doesn't take him long at all to drift off to a more pleasant sleep.]
