Hugin forbid. I realise this is a stupid question, given neither of us really need them, but do you have any spare electronic torches?

I knew I couldn't simply take your torches and be done with it. [ Sigh. He doesn't even blame Billy entirely, half-wanting to tell him from the start. ] The native myths of Eudio are many, mostly documented in the museum, yet it owns absolutely no magical artefacts. Not one. Everything in its fairytales, lore, it's all bunkum. That's a bit shady, don't you think? Coming from a city of reality-warpers who harness our energy.

There's an old house past a lake, a dilapidated old manor that some people say is haunted. I'm not too worried about ghosts being real, the dead aren't unreasonable most of the time, but just in case there are tripwires against outside influences I want to get in and out without stirring up trouble.

[ Mildly, harmlessly, he tacks on, ] I intend to take a look around and be back in time for tea, in short.

Tonight! I was going to head over as soon as I had those torches. I may have also bought some fancy EMF equipment! Or one piece of it, anyway.
