[ Aw yeah! Pizza and scary movies! Sauntering up to the door like a king in his castle, Bucky opens the door and lets Billy in. ]

Are you ready for one of the best nights of your life? [ You better be, Billy. He starts walking toward is small kitchen where the pizza's cooling off on its tray. ] I mean, I'm no wizard! But I predict it'll be at least top five!

[ Yep. This is the man all you Young Avengers respect and idolize. Y'all fools. ]

[This is quite an eye opening experience...

And he's never seen anyone so excited over frozen pizza.]

Really? Because of ghost movies and pizza?

[ WELL! But this isn't any ol' frozen pizza. This is a pizza cooked by James Buchanan Barnes! ]

Yeah! It's gonna be aces! I also got liquor too, so, you know, that always makes everything better...

[ Grabbing a large kitchen knife, Bucky goes to town cutting the pizza. He's mindful of each chop so he doesn't tear all the cheese off. That happened last time and Bucky almost threw a goddamn fit right there in his kitchen. ]

So whatcha bring, pal?

[So it's a special frozen pizza?]

So, we're eating pizza, watching movies, and maybe getting buzzed.

[Sounds like a good plan to him.

... And who knew Bucky would take his pizza so seriously.]

A few movies. Have you ever seen Poltergeist? It's not a recent one, but... it does have creepy, possessed clown toys.

Exactly. Don't have to be in that order, though. We're adventurous souls! I think we can multitask it.

[ Well it's hard not to when you can get authentic Italian pizza around the corner. This may not be the same at all, but it is sure convenient! Once half the pizza is properly carved up, Bucky gets two plates and loads them up. ]

I don't have a lot to drink. Coca-Cola, water, whiskey.... I might have some vodka left.

[ He can Curtis kinda upended that puppy pretty well. The mention of the movie name, though, gets Bucky narrowing his eyes. ]

It's not a German movie, is it?

What are you having?

[He shakes his head at the question, arching a brow.]

No? I mean, it's a German word, but.. It's just angry ghosts that attack people, basically. [He pauses.] I should have brought the Exorcist too. That's another classic...

I dunno... Maybe whiskey and coke.

[ He takes a glass bottle out of the fridge, finds a glass, and starts pouring. ]

The Exorcist, huh? About Catholics? [ Well Buck is pretty surprised. ] The future sure is risque.

I'll have the same then.

[Why not? Age limits didn't seem to exist here or anything...]

You have no idea. Have you seen many recent movies?

[ Done and done. Bucky cracks open another coke and pours a second glass. ]

Not exactly... I mean, not your recent. I've been catching up on the ones I wanted to see, but never got the chance. Then watch some space movies form the fifties

[ Furlough and new films rarely align properly. It's a real drag. ]

Alright. Get your plate! And let the magic begin!

[ Bucky's whole body is humming with good energy as he heads over to the small couch that face his television. ]

[The good mood is kind of contagious and Billy grabs up his plate to join him on the couch, grinning a bit.]

We'll get you caught up in no time.

[It's now a mission!]

So, you want to look over the movies and decide which one you want to see?

Ha! You think? There's seventy years to get through. All I'd be doin' is watchin' movies... Not that that's a bad way to go I guess.

[ Bring it! Bucky loves daring missions! And this one includes drama, comedy, horror, and action! You can't ask for better. ]

Nah, pal! You're the expert here! I have faith in your selection, so long as there's plenty of ghosts!

You only watch the good stuff, of course.

[Poltergeist it is then! Creepy clown toys, little kids being haunted, and general weirdness. What could go wrong?]

You really like ghosts, don't you? [He gives a teasing look.]

[ Everything, Billy. Everything. ]

[ Bucky laughs, shrugging lightly from the couch. ]

I dunno... It's one of the few things I haven't met personally, you know? Sure can't enjoy Dracula anymore! But ghosts I can!

Okay, point. Some things are just sort of... ruined after you see them in person, I guess.

[he pauses.] Have you caught any of those goofy real-life ghost hunting shows though? You get to watch adults scream over changes in temperature and swear they hear talking for an hour in these creepy old places... Usually asylums.

[ He is thoroughly enraptured with this idea. ]

What? No! I mean, I've seen some of those real-life shows, but they're all just about dames gettin' drunk and fightin'! But men screamin' about ghosts... That sounds exciting! Do they ever catch a ghost on film?!

I mean, there's some weird stuff sometimes... They get strange photos and sound clips, stuff like that.

[Bucky, you are so excited over everything.

It's sort of cute.]

We'll have to add that on the 'to watch list', I guess.

[ Excited over everything modern! There's plenty of forties shit that puts him to sleep yo. And he's not cute! He's dashing. ]

[ Hell Bucky may as well be swinging his legs like a kid at this point. ]

Alright. I'll trust you... [ Bucky waves the remote control impatiently in the direction of Billy and his television. ] C'mon, put it in! All this suspense is killin' me, buddy!

Pushing himself up, he went to put in the movie before settling back in beside Bucky.]

[ He presses the sideways triangle like he's been shown and it starts playing automatically. ]

God. You know, when I'm from, I'd never think one day you could do this. I mean, if you missed seein' a film in theaters, that's it! Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll re-release it later, but. You can't just decide "Oh man, I'd sure love to watch Double Indemnity again!"

Man, that had to be really inconvenient. [Billy settles in against the cushions, grabbing a slice of pizza.]

I mean, I can't imagine not being able to rewatch my favorites.

Right? Can you imagine missing a Disney film? Let me tell you, it's horrible!

[ Bucky would bitch up a storm to anyone who would listen and hope leave could be swung in his favor. Picking up the remote, he starts skipping through the previews so they can get to the main event. ]

I love that feature... Not that I didn't appreciate the shorts before the film, but... Sometimes you just want to get started!

Then I hate to tell you you've missed a lot of Disney films...

[Maybe they ought to start with catching up on Disney first. He snorts.]

Definitely. That kinda stuff is better to see in the theaters anyway.
